Common questions

How do I restore my subscription?

If you had Cadence Pro on another device or reinstalled the app, open the paywall screen and tap Restore. Cadence will check your Apple ID and restore your subscription automatically. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used to purchase.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by Cadence. To cancel:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Select Cadence
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription

If you cancel during a free trial, you will keep Pro access until the trial ends, and you will not be charged.

How does the Day Flex engine work?

When a task you scheduled for a specific time slips past without being marked done, Cadence automatically looks for the next open window that matches the task's energy level and duration, then quietly moves it there. You will see a small moved badge so you always know what changed.

How do I change my energy pattern?

Your energy pattern is set during onboarding. To change it, open Settings inside the app (tap the gear icon on the Today tab) and select Restart onboarding. Your tasks will be preserved.

My tasks disappeared. What happened?

Cadence stores all your data locally on your device. If the app was deleted and reinstalled, or if you restored your iPhone without a full iCloud backup that included app data, your tasks cannot be recovered. We do not operate a server that holds your data — this is by design to protect your privacy.

Will Cadence ever add an account or cloud sync?

Possibly — but only as an optional, opt-in feature. Cadence will always work fully offline with no account required. Your data will never be sold or used for advertising.

Can I request a refund?

Refunds for subscriptions are handled directly by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with the Apple ID used to purchase, find the Cadence charge, and select Request a refund.

Is Cadence built for people with ADHD?

Yes — Cadence is designed around the way ADHD, autistic, AuDHD, and other neurodivergent minds plan a day. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose anything, and does not replace professional support. It is simply a planner that tries to be gentle with the reality of your attention.
